Struggling with the realisation that this time next week I will be hanging our exhibition in Hudiksvall alongside 10 other fantastic photographers!
This acedemic year I have been working on my own project with the support from Joakim Brolin and Forsa folkhögskola. At the end of the acedemic year we always present an exhibition together.
My project has focused on myself and my body and everything around that. Documenting the decline in function of my body in an abstract but meaningful way. Using the use of words to highlight certain aspects of this life as it is. My project is still ongoing so for this exhibition I have taken some older photos and newer ones to create a photo book especially for this.
I am very proud of what I have created! I get a lot of feedback from other professional photographers on how strong my photography has been this last year.
As I just mentioned the main project I have been working on is actually spread over a period of 13 months of documenting. I started in September 2022 so will only finish taking pictures in October 2023.
But for now the exhibition at Kubik 316 gallery; "11 fotografer" has its vernissage on Saturday 27th May at 12 midday and of course if you are in Hudiksvall you are more than welcome!
